Isabel came home early to surprise her husband Paul only to find him in bed with another woman, Jane. Paul showed no remorse and even moved Jane into their home. When Isabel tried to leave, he threatened to take the children and use his power to destroy her.

Trapped, Isabel sent her kids away for safety and pretended to obey, but secretly planned her escape. She tried to get legal help, but no one would stand up to Paul until she struck a deal with Jane to expose him.

Their plan backfired when Paul caught them. Furious, he isolated Isabel even more. But Isabel didn’t give up. While Paul was away, she disguised herself, snuck into his office, and gathered evidence. Paul returned unexpectedly and tried to have her committed.

But just in time, police stormed in and arrested Paul thanks to the very lawyer who had once refused to help. Free at last, Isabel turned to Jane and said, “You get nothing,” before walking away to start a new life with her children.
