Husband Flies First Class with His Mom, Leaves Me and Kids in Economy — My Revenge Was Swift

I’m Sophie, and last holiday, my husband Clark decided to “upgrade” himself and his mom to first class — leaving me stuck in economy with our two kids. He said he needed some peace and quiet on the flight. Meanwhile, I was juggling toddlers and carry-ons, feeling totally ignored. At the airport, while Clark and his mom were busy chatting, I discreetly slipped his wallet into my bag. I wasn’t about to let them have the luxury trip without consequences.

On the plane, Clark and his mom enjoyed champagne, gourmet meals, and all the perks. I watched from economy, quietly savoring popcorn as Clark ordered the most expensive items on the menu. Then, disaster struck — Clark realized his wallet was missing. The panic was priceless.

He begged flight attendants to let him pay later, but eventually, he had to come down to economy and ask me for cash. I acted sympathetic but made sure he knew this was payback for leaving me and the kids behind.

The rest of the flight was awkward for Clark and his mom, and I couldn’t help but feel a little victorious. Sometimes, a little creative justice is the best way to remind someone that family means everyone flies together — first class or economy.
