When Sarah gave birth to her baby boy, Luc, she thought it would be the happiest day of her life. After a tough pregnancy full of worry and sleepless nights, finally holding her son made it all worth it. She imagined her husband, Tom, arriving at the hospital, proud and smiling, ready to begin their new life as a family.

But on the day they were supposed to go home, Tom didn’t arrive on time. Sarah’s excitement quickly turned to concern as her calls and texts went unanswered. Eventually, Tom sent a message saying he was at the mall caught up in a shoe sale and would be an hour late.
