In a separate tragedy on June 15 near Bayou Sara, Alabama, 27-year-old Brittney Sherman died after a boat collision. Brittney, a mother of four, was a passenger when two boats crashed; her husband and young son were injured but survived. Multiple agencies conducted an overnight search, recovering her body the next day. Her husband shared heartfelt tributes online, expressing grief and gratitude for community support.
