A suspected quadruple murder in rural Tennessee has sparked a multi-county investigation after an abandoned infant led authorities to the crime.
On July 29, 2025, a 7‑month‑old was found unharmed in a car seat outside a Dyer County home. Soon after, four people were discovered dead in Lake County: James Matthew Wilson, 21; his partner, Adrianna Williams, 20; Adrianna’s mother, Cortney Rose, 38; and Cortney’s son, Braydon Williams, 15. The child is related to the victims.
The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation identified 29‑year‑old Austin Robert Drummond, recently released from prison, as the suspect. He remains at large, armed and dangerous.
Multiple agencies, including the FBI, are assisting in the search. Authorities urge anyone with information to call 1‑800‑TBI‑FIND.
Family and friends described the victims as devoted parents and children, urging the public not to spread rumors as the investigation continues.
