A blonde..

A newly hired blonde PE teacher began her first class with a group of energetic 16-year-olds. As the students excitedly ran across the field, kicking a ball back and forth, her attention was drawn to one boy who stood silently at the edge, away from the action. Concerned, she walked over, thinking something might be wrong.

With a warm smile, she asked him if he was feeling okay and suggested he join the game instead of standing by himself. Her tone carried genuine care, as she assumed he might be shy, excluded, or hesitant to take part in the lively match unfolding before them.

The boy, however, calmly shook his head and explained that he wasn’t left out at all. “I’m the goalie,” he said matter-of-factly, pointing at the goalposts behind him. It was his role to remain stationed there, ready to defend against the other players’ shots.

The teacher’s cheeks turned slightly pink as she realized her mistake. Though well-intentioned, her misunderstanding turned into a lighthearted moment that amused both her and the boy—an innocent, funny reminder of how easily assumptions can spark unexpected humor.
