They disapproved of him dating again, claimed part of his inheritance (around $80k), and tried to control his life\u2014constantly checking on him and expecting emotional support.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Now remarried and expecting twin boys, he told his former mother-in-law the news. She simply replied \u201ccongrats,\u201d then reminded him not to forget his late wife and unborn son, and never mentioned his new family again.
