Life often catches us off guard, whether through unexpected events or the choices made by those around us. I lost my gold earrings. 2 days later, I met my neighbor in the elevator, and she was wearing them. She said, “My boyfriend gifted me those earrings.” I told her they were vintage and had belonged to my husband\u2019s grandma. She was quiet for a while, but then she smirked and said, “Then, it\u2019s time for you to have a serious talk with your husband.”
When I told my husband, he became pale. It turned out he had been having an affair with this neighbor for four months\u2014four months, right under my nose, and I had no idea!
