A woman who called the police after spotting vans blocking the road near RAF Fairford shortly before a \u2018major incident\u2019 was declared has spoken out about what she saw.The heroic farmer, who asked not to be named, said she was driving home to the village in Whelford, Gloucestershire, in the early hours after attending a party when she saw the vehicles blocking the road and a \u2018large group of hooded and \u2018balaclava\u2019d\u2019 men\u2019.Speaking to the Press Association, she said: \u201cThey would have seen the bright headlights.\u201cThey probably thought we were the police [and] panicked.\u201dShe added: \u201cIt would appear that by doing so I just derailed whatever they were planning.\u201dThe woman said police arrived at the scene around 15 minutes after she called 999.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
