Bryon Noem has largely remained out of the political spotlight while his wife, Kristi Noem, built a prominent career in South Dakota and Washington. The couple first met as teenagers and married after high school, eventually raising three children: Kassidy, Kennedy, and Booker. Bryon grew up in rural South Dakota, graduated from Hamlin High School in 1988, and earned a degree from Northern State University in 1993.
