I got up at 5 a.m. to prepare my husband’s preferred meal to take to work. We’ve had a busy week, and I knew he’d be running late, so I decided to surprise him with something homemade. He’s always been picky about food, but I’ve been perfecting his favorite breakfast burrito recipe for months. I woke up early to make sure it was fresh and ready for him before he left. He was already getting dressed when I finished the meal and packed it up nicely for him to take.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
When he came home that evening, I noticed something was off. He seemed a little uncomfortable, which was unusual. After a while, he casually mentioned that he hadn’t eaten the food I made.
