The couple wed in 1979 and welcomed their son, Boston Russell, before ending their marriage in divorce in 1983. Hubley was already building a successful career during those years, becoming known for appearances in films and television productions. Her credits included Lolly-Madonna XXX (1973), Hardcore (1979), Escape from New York (1981), and Vice Squad (1982), along with more than 145 episodes of All My Children. She also appeared in the 1976 Good Heavens episode “I Want Nancy!” and was photographed alongside fellow actress Adrienne Barbeau at Spago in West Hollywood in 1985. One of the most recognizable chapters of Hubley’s career came in 1979, when she portrayed Priscilla Presley opposite Russell’s Elvis Presley in the ABC movie Elvis. Photos from her younger years show an actress who was firmly part of Hollywood’s spotlight long before she became known primarily as Russell’s former wife.

Russell’s life changed significantly after his marriage to Hubley ended, eventually leading him back to Goldie Hawn, whom he had first met while working on The One and Only, Genuine, Original Family Band in 1968. They reunited years later while filming Swing Shift in 1984, when both were dealing with difficult personal circumstances. Their relationship soon grew into a partnership that has lasted more than four decades, and together they raised a blended family that included Boston, Oliver, Kate, and their son Wyatt, born in 1986. Meanwhile, Hubley chose a much quieter path following her divorce and gradually stepped away from the intense public attention surrounding Hollywood. She continued making occasional appearances and was seen at events such as the Golden Globe Awards, but largely maintained her privacy. Today, photographs from the 1970s and early 1980s offer a nostalgic look at Hubley during the years when she was a rising actress, married to Russell, and raising their young son.

Before Kurt Russell became half of Hollywood’s famously enduring partnership with Goldie Hawn, he was married to actress Season Hubley.
