Candace Cameron Bure’s long-awaited new chapter arrived with an emotional surprise when her son, Lev Bure, and his wife, Elliott, welcomed their first child. The couple became parents on August 4, 2026, but waited until September 27 to share the news publicly after their baby was safely home. Their son, Bond Leo Bure, was born 10 weeks premature and weighed only three pounds, spending five weeks and five days in the neonatal intensive care unit. Elliott described the difficult weeks as a time filled with tears, prayers, and gratitude for the medical team who cared for their tiny boy. When Bond finally came home, his parents introduced him as their “miracle boy,” while Candace celebrated becoming a grandmother for the first time. She had even chosen the playful grandmother name “Candy Gram,” despite her children once jokingly rejecting the idea. Candace called Bond a miracle and said her heart was overflowing with love for the newest member of the family.

The family’s joy grew even larger just weeks later when Candace’s daughter, Natasha Bure, and her husband, Bradley Steven Perry, welcomed their first child, a daughter named Winnie Helaine. Natasha had announced her pregnancy in May, followed by Lev and Elliott’s pregnancy announcement three weeks later. On October 6, Natasha revealed Winnie’s arrival with sentimental hospital photos, writing, “It was always you, my Winnie.” Candace quickly shared her own excitement, posting a photo of herself holding her granddaughter and writing that dreams had come true. She lovingly welcomed Winnie into the family and reaffirmed that “CandyGram and Deda” would be there for every moment. After years of adjusting to an empty nest, Candace suddenly found herself surrounded by a new generation. In the same year she turned 50, she became a grandmother of two, with Bond and Winnie bringing an extraordinary new season of family memories.
