Kate Middleton made a revealing admission when reporters asked about meeting her niece, Princess Lilibet, shortly after the little girl was born on June 4, 2021, in California. The birth came about a year after Prince Harry and Meghan Markle stepped away from their senior royal roles and moved to the United States. By then, tensions within the royal family had attracted worldwide attention, particularly following Harry and Meghan’s explosive interview with Oprah Winfrey. During the conversation, Meghan discussed her difficult experiences within the monarchy and recalled an upsetting disagreement with Kate over Princess Charlotte’s bridesmaid dress ahead of the 2018 royal wedding. Against this complicated background, reporters wanted to know how Kate felt about welcoming another niece into the family. Her answer was warm, but it also revealed that the two sides had yet to establish even the most basic connection with the newborn.

“I wish her all the very best,” Kate told reporters, adding that she could not wait to meet Lilibet and hoped it would happen soon. When asked whether she had spoken to the baby through FaceTime, the Princess of Wales replied, “No, I haven’t.” Her honest response quickly drew attention, with some observers praising the way she handled an uncomfortable question without fueling further controversy. Meanwhile, questions remained about whether Kate and Prince William had eventually met Lilibet, as the family continued navigating its complicated relationships. King Charles was reportedly introduced to his granddaughter during Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations in June 2022. The wider family tensions had also been discussed in Prince Harry’s memoir, Spare, which included his account of the bridesmaid dress disagreement. Although the full details of these private relationships remain unclear, Kate’s brief comments highlighted the physical and emotional distance separating relatives who might otherwise have shared a joyful family milestone.

Kate Middleton made a revealing admission when reporters asked about meeting her niece, Princess Lilibet, shortly after the little girl was born on June 4, 2021, in…

[1

post-58178","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-uncategorized
["GET
