Lucian Piane, who was best known for his work on RuPaul’s Drag Race, has died at 46 after being hit by a car.According to the Los Angeles Medical Examiner, Piane died on Monday with his place of death listed as on the street.The talented American composer was hit by a car in Glendale early Monday morning and ultimately succumbed to his injuries according to law enforcement sources for TMZ.The Glendale Fire Department told the site that crews had worked on him and ultimately pronounced him dead on the scene after some time.Piane had concerned fans with his recent social media activity as he posted several self-taken videos of himself rambling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Many of his followers asked if he was okay to no reply as he appeared to be spending much of his time on the street.Piane, also known as RevoLucian, served as a judge, producer, and songwriter who worked on multiple seasons of RuPaul’s Drag Race.
The Emmy Award winning reality competition series is centered around finding the next drag superstar as Piane appeared as a judge from 2012 to 2016.He also had worked on soundtracks including for the film Hairspray which earned him a RIAA Platinum Album Award for his production work.In addition he also worked on albums for musicians including RuPaul as they worked on three albums together: 2009’s Champion, 2011’s Glamazon, and 2014’s Born Naked.Piane also achieved internet fame under the aforementioned name of RevoLucian for his satirical techno remixes.His most famous contribution to internet culture was when he released the track Bale out which featured infamous profanity-laced tirades from actor Christian Bale recorded on the set of 2009 film Terminator Salvation.Piane has also faced trouble with the law and on social media as he was arrested at gunpoint in Los Angeles after refusing to leave a Chase bank in August 2019.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
