The bill, dubbed the One Big Beautiful Bill Act, narrowly passed the House and includes tax cuts, funding for a border wall, and major cuts to social safety programs like Medicaid and SNAP. It also introduces “Trump accounts” offering financial perks to parents and older Americans—benefits tied directly to Trump remaining in office.
