Little Johnny one day asked his father, “Dad, why do grown-ups like to exercise in bed?” His mother, busy cooking, overheard and paused, curious to hear how her husband would handle this one.
The dad calmly answered, “Because it makes grown-ups happy.” Johnny nodded eagerly and said, “I want to be happy too!” The father chuckled and replied, “You have to wait until you’re a grown-up.”
Johnny kept going, “But who will exercise with me when I grow up?” The dad smiled confidently, “Hopefully, your wife—when you get married.”
Then Johnny innocently dropped the bomb: “But Dad… how come our neighbor Sally exercises with you?” At that moment, Johnny’s mother came charging out of the kitchen, and ten minutes later, an ambulance showed up.
