Put this in your house and you will never see flies

Flies circling your fruit or cockroaches darting under the sink are common but frustrating. These unwelcome guests can quickly turn your home into a battleground.

But the solution might already be in your bathroom or kitchen. A simple mix of mint toothpaste, baking soda, and white vinegar creates a powerful, natural repellent that drives away insects.

Their strong aversion to peppermint scent, combined with the chemical reaction of vinegar and baking soda, makes this mix especially effective.

To prepare it: blend 1 tbsp mint toothpaste with 1 tbsp baking soda, then slowly add 1 tbsp white vinegar. Stir in 120 ml lukewarm water and 5–10 drops of peppermint essential oil (optional).

Pour the mix into small containers like jar lids and place them near sinks, trash cans, windows, or dark corners. Within an hour, you’ll notice fewer pests—flies and mosquitoes leave due to the minty scent, while cockroaches avoid the strong chemical mix. For lasting results, refresh every 2–3 days, apply behind appliances or along baseboards with a cotton swab, and place near doors or windows in summer. Safe, non-toxic, and effective—this is a simple way to keep your home pest-free.
