Sylvester Stallone’s 1st wife pleaded with son weeks before his death

Sylvester Stallone, the legendary “Rocky” actor, has faced many challenges in life, but none as devastating as losing his first-born son, Sage Stallone, in 2012. Sage was just 36 when he was found dead in his Los Angeles apartment, leaving behind grief, confusion, and countless rumors about what had happened to him.

Before Sage’s death, Stallone’s ex-wife and Sage’s mother, Sasha Czack, had pleaded with him not to undergo major dental surgery. Sage, however, ignored her warning and had five teeth removed, taking painkillers afterward to ease his discomfort. Sadly, just two weeks later, he was gone — and speculation quickly swirled about drugs, alcohol, and even suicide.

For weeks, the family faced painful rumors until the truth emerged: Sage had died from atherosclerosis — a hardening of the arteries that led to a fatal heart attack. Toxicology reports confirmed only small traces of pain medication, putting to rest the false claims of overdose or substance abuse. Stallone was heartbroken, describing it as a loss that would haunt him for life.

Despite the tragedy, Stallone has continued to find strength through his remaining children — son Seargeoh and daughters Sophia, Sistine, and Scarlet. He honors Sage’s memory quietly while supporting his family and career. The story of Sage Stallone is both a heartbreaking reminder of life’s fragility and a testament to a parent’s endless love and enduring grief.
