Jessica Alves, formerly Rodrigo Alves, became known worldwide for undergoing extreme plastic surgery to achieve a doll-like appearance. Born in Brazil in 1983, she struggled with her looks from a young age and began altering her body after moving to London. What started as cosmetic tweaks soon turned into dozens of procedures — nose jobs, implants, fillers, liposuction, rib removal, and more — costing over half a million dollars.
Jessica first aimed to look like a male “human Ken doll,” but later realized she had always identified as female. In 2020, she came out as transgender, began hormone treatments, and transitioned publicly, saying she finally felt like her true self. She has appeared on TV, built a large social-media following, and openly documents her journey and surgeries.
Her transformation, however, has been risky and painful. Jessica has faced serious medical complications, including necrosis in her nose and difficulty breathing after repeated rhinoplasties. Doctors have warned her about the dangers, yet she continued pursuing surgeries to match her internal identity and aesthetic goals. She has said she suffered from body dysmorphia and could never feel fully satisfied after a procedure.
Today, Jessica continues to share her life online and appears happy living as her authentic self. At 41, she says she is close to completing her transition, though recent reports show she underwent another facelift in 2024. While her choices draw mixed reactions, Jessica says what matters most is that she finally feels confident and comfortable in her own skin.
