John is overjoyed to meet his newborn son, surrounded by both his and Tina’s families. But the joyful moment collapses when John’s father, Ron, notices a birthmark on the baby and accuses Tina of infidelity, claiming the mark matches that of a neighbor’s child. Despite Tina’s emotional pleas, Ron demands a DNA test. John—torn and under pressure—reluctantly agrees.
When the test results arrive, they falsely indicate John is not the father. Heartbroken and convinced of betrayal, John distances himself and ultimately allows his parents to push Tina out of the house. Tina, devastated and confused, moves back with her parents and raises her baby alone. John, equally shattered, buries himself in work. Both are left with deep emotional scars as their family falls apart.
