Wheel of Fortune’ Contestant Solves $65K Puzzle in Record Time

A Minnesota contestant stunned viewers during a recent episode of Wheel of Fortune by solving a $65,650 puzzle in record time. Delinda Rood, from Rosemount, wowed both the audience and host Ryan Seacrest with her lightning-fast Bonus Round win. Her impressive performance quickly became the highlight of the November 4 episode.

The game began slowly for Rood, who initially struggled to solve the first toss-up puzzle, “My Game Face.” However, she quickly regained her rhythm by buzzing in on the second toss-up, “Practical Joker,” and earning $2,000. Meanwhile, her fellow contestants, Justin Zamora of California and Shateria Smith of Tennessee, also had strong moments, with Zamora winning a trip to Norway and Smith claiming the One Million Dollar Wedge.

Rood’s momentum continued as she solved key puzzles like “Spoil Yourself At The Spa” and excelled in the triple toss-up round. By the time the final puzzle arrived, she had secured her spot in the Bonus Round with $20,650 in winnings. Her skillful choices and calm strategy gave her a clear advantage over the other contestants.

In the Bonus Round, Rood selected the category “Around the House” and confidently solved the puzzle almost instantly: “Warm Quilt.” Seacrest and the audience erupted as she revealed the answer, earning an additional $45,000. With her final total reaching $65,650, Rood’s quick thinking and sharp instincts made for one of the most memorable Wheel of Fortune moments in recent history. Her victory proved that preparation, focus, and a little family inspiration can lead to extraordinary success.
