Erika Kirk revealed that when her husband, Charlie Kirk, was shot and killed on 10 September, she had been praying she was pregnant, calling it what would have been the “ultimate blessing” amid the tragedy. In a conversation with Megyn Kelly, she said the couple had hoped to have four children.
She emphasized that young women shouldn’t delay starting families, saying careers can wait but fertility cannot. Charlie, a Trump-aligned activist and father of two, was killed while on stage at an event in Utah. Erika has since spoken publicly about her grief and her children’s confusion, sharing that she told their daughter her father is on “a work trip with Jesus.”
