After moving his family to a quiet town in Maine, Travis hopes for a fresh start — until his son discovers a headstone in the woods bearing Travis’s childhood photo and birthdate. Shocked, Travis learns from an elderly local woman that he once had an identical twin brother, Caleb, and that a fire decades earlier killed their parents and supposedly both boys. But Travis had survived and somehow ended up in Texas with no memory of his early life.
Seeking answers, he visits his reclusive uncle Tom, who reveals he placed the memorial stones after the fire, never knowing what truly happened but hoping one of the boys had lived. Travis returns to the clearing with his family and finally begins to piece together the life — and the brother — he never knew he had.
