Three Dead Men at Heaven’s Gate

Three men die within seconds of each other and arrive at the gates of heaven, where Saint Peter explains that only one can enter at a time. The man with the most interesting story will go first. The first man tells how he suspected his wife was cheating, came home early, found her naked, and discovered a man hanging from the terrace railing. In a rage, he knocked the man loose, dropped a refrigerator on him, and then died of a heart attack from the stress.

The second man explains that he was chasing his cat on the terrace, tripped, and fell, barely managing to grab a railing before someone knocked his hands loose and crushed him with a refrigerator. The third man simply sighs and says, “So there I was, hiding inside a refrigerator…”
