Solange Ábalos, a 34-year-old mother of four from Mar del Plata, Argentina, collapsed during a light gym workout on July 30, 2025, and never regained consciousness. She had joined with her friend Marina, hoping to get healthier and lose some weight. It was only their third day back at the gym after years of focusing on raising their children.

That morning, Solange arrived earlier than usual after dropping her kids off. During a break, she suddenly clutched Marina’s arm and whispered, “I have a sharp pain in my head.” Seconds later, she collapsed. Despite CPR and a defibrillator, paramedics could not revive her, and she was pronounced dead at the scene.

Friends and family described Solange as cheerful, respectful, and deeply loved. She adored singing and dancing, often lighting up social events with her laughter. “With so many awful people out there, God took you instead,” one friend wrote. Her cousin added, “You’ve left a huge void, but I’ll hold onto our beautiful memories forever.”

The autopsy revealed she had suffered a massive stroke. The sudden loss of such a young, vibrant mother has left her community heartbroken. Solange is survived by her four children, who now face life without the loving presence that had always been their guiding light.
