While weeding my garden, I noticed a cluster of tiny white, jelly-like balls in the soil. At first, I thought they were debris, but their smooth, squishy texture made me uneasy. After looking them up, I realized they were snail eggs—dozens at once, capable of turning into a full infestation within weeks.
Worse, I learned some snail eggs can carry harmful parasites. I quickly removed them and poured boiling water over the area, a common gardener’s solution. Now I always double-check anything unusual in the soil—it’s a reminder of how surprising (and sneaky) nature can be.
