Hilary met Myron at a party, and it felt like love at first sight. After only two days, he asked her to be his girlfriend. She was hesitant but said yes, believing his love would heal the heartbreak caused by her past relationship.

Soon, Myron met Hilary’s parents and quickly won them over. After just five months of dating, he proposed in a fancy restaurant, and Hilary joyfully accepted, despite her parents thinking it was all happening too fast.

As the wedding preparations began, Hilary noticed Myron seemed more excited about the expensive gifts they would receive than about their future together. Things got stranger when he insisted on a prenuptial agreement, especially a clause about paying a large sum if either of them initiated a divorce.

A few days before the wedding, Hilary found a divorce certificate with Myron’s name. When she confronted him, he claimed it was a mistake from his past and convinced her to trust him. She tried to let it go, though her doubts lingered.

On the wedding day, just as the priest asked if anyone objected, an older man shouted, “I am against this marriage!” Police officers stormed in and arrested Myron before he could escape.

The man then introduced himself as Myron’s father, Mr. Brown. He revealed that Myron was a con artist who tricked women into marrying him for their money. Myron had lied about his parents being dead and was planning to scam Hilary, just as he had done with others.

Shocked and heartbroken, Hilary thanked Mr. Brown for saving her. Later, a court ordered Myron to repay all the women he had deceived. When Hilary received her settlement money, she gave it to Mr. Brown, grateful that he had stopped her from making the biggest mistake of her life.
