John Candy’s Grown-Up Son and Daughter Attend ‘John Candy: I Like Me’ Premiere at the 2025 TIFF

John Candy’s children, Jennifer and Christopher, made an emotional red carpet appearance at the Toronto International Film Festival for the premiere of John Candy: I Like Me, a heartfelt documentary about the late comedy legend.

Joined by their mother, Rosemary, the siblings honored their father’s legacy while fans were stunned by their striking resemblance to him.

The film, directed by Colin Hanks and produced by Ryan Reynolds, features Hollywood icons like Steve Martin and Bill Murray, but it’s Jennifer and Christopher’s personal stories that make it deeply moving.

Christopher recalled the day they learned of their father’s passing in 1994 when he was just eight years old, while Jennifer shared memories of her final conversation with him the night before.

The documentary explores John Candy’s life, his struggles, and the kindness that defined him. Jennifer and Christopher, now active in entertainment, continue to keep their father’s memory alive through their own work and heartfelt tributes.
