Just as the melody of ‘Not Such an Innocent Girl’ has quietened down and we’ve given up checking on Posh and Beck’s accounts every day, Brooklyn Beckham has made another move in the family feud. And this time it appears to be a hit at Gordon Ramsay. The chef is famously a close friend of David and Victoria Beckham, with the pair attending his daughter Holly’s wedding to Adam Peaty at the end of last year.Ramsay has also long been a supporter of Brooklyn’s controversial cooking videos, defending him previously from ridicule.ut in a recent interview, the 59-year-old pleaded for the 26-year-old to ‘remember where he came from’ and, in response, Brooklyn appears to have unfollowed him on Instagram. While a classic Gen Z move, it also seems to have been his signature lately.
Brooklyn is previously said to have blocked his family members on social media, before releasing a damning public statement against them and asking for privacy.Speaking to The Sun, Ramsay said of the eldest Beckham lad: “I love him, his heart is incredible, but it’s hard, isn’t it? I think when you’re infatuated, you know, love is blind. They say it for that reason, and so, you know, he’s desperate to stand on his own two feet. He’s desperate to forge his own way. And I respect that from Brooklyn, and that’s such a good thing to do.“But remember where you came from, and honestly, one day you’re not going to have your mum and dad, and you need to understand that.”While Brooklyn appears to have now unfollowed the chef since these comments were published, he seemingly has not gone as far as blocking him.
