Eric Dane, best known for his roles in Grey’s Anatomy and Euphoria, has died at 53 following a battle with ALS. His family said he passed away surrounded by his wife, Rebecca Gayheart, and their two daughters, describing him as a devoted father who deeply appreciated his fans. Dane had revealed his diagnosis with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis in April 2025 and became an advocate for awareness and research during his illness.

The show previously lost cast member Dustin Diamond in 2021, while co-stars Mark-Paul Gosselaar, Tiffani Thiessen, and Mario Lopez went on to successful careers in television.
