In light of shooting reports, Corewell Health Beaumont Troy in Michigan has enforced a lockdown

At around 7 a.m. Thursday, police responded to an active shooter at Corewell Health Beaumont Troy, 24 miles north of Detroit.Authorities issued a shelter-in-place order as hospital employees barricaded themselves.

A 25-year-old man was shot twice in the arm but is in stable condition. Reports say an employee fired at a co-worker in what was called a “targeted attack.” The suspect fired five shots in the parking lot, hitting a vehicle.After a massive manhunt, police arrested the suspect at a home in Macomb Township. His identity remains unconfirmed. Nearby schools also went into lockdown during the incident.
