His inheritance was redirected to charity and to trust funds for Emily and Jack, leaving him with nothing but debt.

Though Daniel lost everything — his home, car, and girlfriend — my kids got to keep the gifts, including the puppy. More importantly, they learned the value of honesty and love over bribery. I still hope one day Daniel becomes a better father, but for now, Emily, Jack, and I are rebuilding our lives together, free from his manipulations.
