Authorities have released chilling new footage connected to the investigation of conservative commentator Charlie Kirk’s tragic death. The video shows a figure believed to be the suspect scrambling across a rooftop, then leaping to the ground before disappearing into nearby woods.

The footage, released September 12, 2025, comes just over a day after the incident. Investigators also confirmed they recovered a rifle believed to have been used in the attack, found in the same wooded area behind Utah Valley University where the suspect was last seen.

Earlier clips captured the figure crouched on the roof moments before and after the fatal shot, giving investigators crucial evidence to piece together the timeline. Kirk was addressing thousands under a large tent when the single shot rang out, causing panic and confusion among the crowd.

Witnesses described chaos as attendees rushed to safety, with some initially believing the sound was part of the event. Despite swift action by security, Kirk did not survive.
