The Mysterious Message on His Back

It was the night of her husband’s office Christmas party. Knowing how wild those events could get, she playfully decided to stake her claim by writing a bold message across his chest:
“This is my husband; if you touch him, you’ll pay for it.”

He laughed it off and headed to the party, leaving her at home with a mix of amusement and curiosity.

Hours later, just as the sun began to rise, he stumbled back through the door, slightly intoxicated but grinning from ear to ear. She helped him out of his coat and guided him to the bedroom, ready to tuck him into bed.

But as she turned him around to remove his shirt, her heart skipped a beat. Written on his back, in large, unmistakable letters, was a reply:
“Take better care of him, or someone else will.”

Her mind raced. Who had written it? Was it a joke, a warning, or something more sinister? The room felt colder as possibilities flooded her thoughts.

The Christmas party had ended, but the mystery was only beginning.
