Tourist submarine sinks with children onboard, killing at least six

A tragic accident occurred in the Red Sea off the coast of Egypt when a tourist submarine, Sindbad, sank near Hurghada during an excursion to explore coral reefs. The vessel, carrying 44 passengers, including children of various nationalities, began to sink near a marina,

prompting an intense rescue operation. Reports confirm that six people lost their lives, including a child, and nine others sustained injuries, with four in critical condition. Authorities deployed 21 ambulances and security forces to the scene, successfully rescuing 29 passengers. The Russian embassy in Egypt stated that all the tourists onboard were Russian, though their fatality count differed from local reports.
