A Middlesbrough family is grieving a devastating double loss. David Beilicki, 41, was found dead at a relative’s home on July 31. He had battled addiction but was said to be making progress. His cause of death remains under investigation.
David’s funeral took place on August 21 at St Bede’s Chapel in Teesside Crematorium — exactly ten years after the memorial for his stillborn twin sons. As his coffin was carried inside, his father, Norman “Nosha” White, 61, suddenly collapsed outside.
Norman was rushed to the hospital but could not be saved. His daughter, Chantelle, believes the grief overwhelmed him, saying, “I think he must have died from a broken heart.” Doctors note that extreme stress can sometimes trigger sudden, fatal heart problems.
The family remembered Norman as a devoted father, grandad, and friend. His funeral will be held on September 18 at St Hilda’s Chapel, followed by burial at Acklam Cemetery.
Chantelle later shared a tribute, recalling her father’s rare display of emotion when she survived a serious illness, saying her own strength came from him.
