Bam Margera’s parents provide health update on son and explain why he didn’t return to Jackass

Johnny Knoxville has made it clear that the end of Jackass may not be as final as fans once believed. After more than 20 years of outrageous stunts, injuries, and unforgettable moments, many assumed that Jackass Forever would be the last chapter for the legendary crew. However, Knoxville revealed that the group never officially said it was their final movie. While speaking about the future, he explained that the idea of retirement came from outside assumptions rather than an announcement from the team itself. Even though the original members are older now, Knoxville believes the spirit of Jackass can continue by bringing in younger performers while allowing the original crew to take a slightly different role.

The idea of adding new faces came after the team tested how a younger generation could work alongside the longtime members. Knoxville admitted the older cast initially worried they might be replaced, but he explained that the goal was simply to expand the Jackass family rather than remove anyone. He also acknowledged that his own health means he must be more careful, especially after doctors warned him about suffering more concussions. Despite that, he has not closed the door on future projects. Knoxville also spoke warmly about former cast member Bam Margera, saying he still cares deeply about him despite their past difficulties. He expressed hope that Bam can continue focusing on his health and happiness. For fans, Knoxville’s comments bring new excitement that the wild, unpredictable world of Jackass could return again, even if the next generation carries more of the dangerous stunts. The crew may be older, but their willingness to entertain audiences with chaos and comedy is clearly not gone yet.
