Meghan Shares First Glimpse of Her Family’s New Life in Britain — One Small Detail About Archie Has Everyone Talking

Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, has given followers a rare glimpse into her family’s new chapter in Britain, sharing a short video featuring Prince Harry, Archie, Lilibet, and their dogs enjoying the countryside. The 35-second clip shows the family walking through wooded paths, riding bicycles, spending time on a small boat, fishing, and gathering around a campfire. Archie, 7, and Lilibet, 5, appear relaxed as they explore their new surroundings, while Meghan and Harry are seen enjoying quiet family moments away from the spotlight. The Sussexes reportedly returned to the U.K. on August 26 for an extended stay, with their children beginning school there. The move does not represent a return to working royal duties, as Harry and Meghan remain private members of the royal family. Instead, the family appears to be building a different kind of life in Britain while keeping their home and professional interests in the United States.

Yet one tiny moment in Meghan’s video quickly became the main topic of conversation. Archie can be heard saying “Go! Go!” as he runs, and some viewers began discussing what they believed sounded like a British accent. The reaction may be surprising, but Meghan has previously explained that both children sometimes use British-sounding words despite having mostly American accents. During a 2025 interview, she said those little moments reminded her of Harry and described them as adorable. Archie was born in London in 2019 before the family moved to California, while Lilibet was born in California in 2021. With Harry’s British voice remaining part of their everyday family life, it is possible for the children to pick up certain speech patterns naturally. For now, the brief clip has simply given fans another glimpse of Archie and Lilibet settling into their family’s new British chapter.
