During a September 2026 interview, Kelly explained that she and Aimee have always been very different, while recalling how close she was with their brother Jack growing up. She said one of the hardest parts of her life was feeling that she never truly had the big-sister relationship she wanted. Kelly also acknowledged that she still carries resentment over having to learn certain things on her own. When asked whether she believed there was any possibility of reconciliation, her answer was direct: she said no. At the same time, Kelly stressed that she respects and accepts Aimee for who she is, even though she does not want a relationship in which she feels judged or pressured to change.
