Donald Trump Posts Cryptic Message After Viral AI Photo With Natalie Harp — White House Calls Image Fake

Donald Trump has posted a cryptic message on Truth Social after an AI-generated image appearing to show him kissing White House aide Natalie Harp spread rapidly across social media. The picture, which surfaced online earlier this week, quickly sparked speculation because Harp is known as one of Trump’s close aides and has been nicknamed the “Human Printer.” However, the White House dismissed the image as fake, and fact-checking analysis found strong evidence that at least the higher-resolution version was AI-generated. Snopes reported that the sharper image contained several signs of manipulation, while deepfake expert Hany Farid described it as clearly AI-generated. A lower-resolution version circulating online was less conclusive because it lacked enough detail for the same analysis. Against that backdrop, Trump shared another image on Truth Social showing himself looking serious with what appeared to be police officers in the background. He captioned the post simply, “The Hoax Buster,” without explaining what he meant or directly mentioning the viral image.

The episode has added another chapter to the growing conversation around AI-generated political images and Trump’s frequent use of digitally created content on social media. Trump has previously shared AI-style images portraying himself in fictional or historical scenes, while journalist Michael Wolff has claimed that a group connected to Trump helps create some of his online memes. The White House has disputed that characterization, saying Truth Social serves as Trump’s direct voice. Meanwhile, speculation surrounding Harp and Trump has circulated for months, but no verified evidence establishes a romantic relationship between them. Earlier reporting and public discussion have focused on Harp’s unusually close working relationship with the president, rather than confirming the claims suggested by the viral image. Melania Trump’s representative has also previously criticized what he described as gossip surrounding Harp. For now, the clearest documented point is that the viral kissing image should not be treated as authentic evidence of a relationship.
