Presley Gerber, the only son of Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber and older brother of Kaia Gerber, died on September 20, 2026, at the age of 27. He first entered the modeling world at 17, making his runway debut for Moschino in Los Angeles before walking for Dolce & Gabbana in Milan and appearing in a Calvin Klein campaign. Although he initially admitted that he disliked being in front of cameras and was nervous about making mistakes on the runway, traveling and working in fashion gradually helped him become more comfortable. Behind the public image, however, Presley faced serious personal struggles. In 2019, at 19, he was arrested following a traffic stop in Beverly Hills and later received probation, a DUI program, and community service. In 2023, he discussed mental health publicly and said caring for his mind was a “24/7 job.” In March 2026, he shared a deeply personal post about undergoing treatment for addiction, describing how frightened he had been while confronting problems he had previously tried to escape. His final months included several moments with his family. In May, he appeared alongside Cindy, Rande, and Kaia at a Los Angeles fashion event, and in June he participated in a mental-health panel in Malibu. During that appearance, Presley spoke about finally feeling free after becoming honest with himself. He died months later while staying at a rehabilitation facility, according to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner. His exact cause of death remains undetermined pending completion of the autopsy.
