Presley, the eldest child of Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber, had reportedly checked into Resolutions Living Mental Health Recovery Residence at around 10 p.m. Saturday, meaning he had been there for roughly 11½ hours before emergency responders were called Sunday morning. At approximately 9:35 a.m., Santa Monica police received a dispatch reporting a cardiac arrest in the 1000 block of Berkeley Street, while another dispatch described a suspected overdose at the same location. Responding officers found Presley dead, and paramedics pronounced him deceased at 9:45 a.m. The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner later confirmed that an autopsy conducted September 21 did not immediately determine a cause or manner of death.
