D’Alessio, 28, dated Presley from 2018 and turned to Instagram after news of his sudden passing emerged. Alongside photographs from their relationship, she expressed both love and anger over the fact that he was gone so young. “Shared a pure love with you & for that I thank & honor your life. You deserved more time. You deserved more life. Very angry ab this,” she wrote. She continued by telling Presley that she would always love him and hoped he could somehow feel how deeply he was still cared for. Presley died Sunday morning at a Los Angeles-area rehabilitation facility at 9:45 a.m. local time. The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner said the investigation remains in its early stages, with the Santa Monica Police Department handling the case. An initial examination was conducted by a deputy medical examiner, but the official cause and manner of death have been deferred while additional testing and studies are completed. Officials said determining the cause could take several months. The son of Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber and brother of Kaia Gerber, Presley followed his mother into modeling but also became increasingly open about his struggles with mental health and addiction. During a 2023 appearance on the Studio 22 Podcast, he spoke about wanting to use his own experiences to help others facing depression or other difficult challenges. He emphasized that mental health had become a major part of his life and that he wanted to support people without judgment. His family has since asked the public to respect their privacy during what they described as “this very difficult and painful time.”
