Leandro de Souza, once known as Brazil’s most tattooed man, has shocked social media with recent images showing his nearly tattoo-free face. For years, his body was 95% covered in tattoos, a reflection of his rebellious lifestyle and love of rock music.

After battling addiction and even experiencing homelessness, Leandro went through a spiritual transformation in 2023, finding refuge in the evangelical faith. Feeling trapped by his old image, he decided to remove his tattoos, especially those on his face, which he deeply regretted.

The painful laser removal process takes up to 40 minutes per session and is funded partly by his followers. Leandro shares his journey with over 530,000 Instagram fans, receiving messages of admiration and support.

Today, his changing appearance symbolizes his new path. His goal is to build a stable life for himself, support his 10-year-old son, and care for his mother in a nursing home.
