Inside Tim McGraw and Faith Hill’s Stunning Homes — From a $15.7 Million Nashville Estate to a Private Bahamas Island

Tim McGraw and Faith Hill have built an extraordinary life together, and their remarkable properties offer a glimpse into the world behind their successful music careers. Married since October 6, 1996, the country superstars raised three daughters, Gracie, Maggie, and Audrey, while earning millions of fans worldwide. Their longtime Nashville residence in Forest Hills stands out for its impressive scale, spanning approximately 22,460 square feet across a wooded 17-acre property. The couple purchased the land in 2004 and developed a custom mansion estimated to be worth $15.7 million, featuring five bedrooms, 11 bathrooms, and expansive living spaces. Yet the home is more than a luxury showpiece, with Tim sharing glimpses of elaborate Christmas decorations, towering trees, and family celebrations. The couple also once owned a historic 622-acre estate near Franklin, Tennessee, featuring a house dating to 1800 and a surprising connection to country music legend Hank Williams. They reportedly paid $13.75 million for the property through separate transactions before listing it for $20 million in 2013.

Their most unusual retreat, however, lies in the Bahamas, where the couple purchased a private 20-acre island called L’île d’Anges in 2003. Building their dream getaway proved far more complicated than expected, as the undeveloped property initially had little more than a small shack and required extensive infrastructure for electricity, water, and construction. Tim and Faith worked with architects Bobby McAlpine and Greg Tankersley to create a distinctive residence made up of eight separate pavilions connected by open-air, thatched-roof walkways. Before the home was completed in 2012, the family spent years staying in two seaside yurts with their daughters, embracing an experience Faith compared to camping. While the tropical retreat features a pool near the waterfront and airy interiors designed by Ray Booth, their daughter Maggie has chosen a very different lifestyle. Rather than pursuing fame in entertainment, she earned a master’s degree in sustainability science and practice from Stanford University and developed a career in environmental work and public policy. According to an August 2026 report, Maggie lives in New York City with her older sister Gracie, where her glimpses of everyday life reveal cozy surroundings, plants, and cats. From sprawling estates to a modest city home, the McGraw family’s story shows how each generation can find its own definition of home.
