I came across something truly strange in my yard. What lay before me was a slow-moving column of approximately 150 caterpillars, which I eventually counted!They were crawling in a perfectly straight line, tightly grouped together, as if following an invisible leader. I had no idea such behavior existed—especially not right in my own yard.Where were they going? Why were there so many? These questions still linger in my mind. Some say caterpillars move in groups to ward off predators.
