Donald Trump’s ‘wildly inappropriate’ comments about Kate Middleton during state dinner spark backlash

Donald Trump faced criticism after making remarks about Kate Middleton during a state dinner on his historic second state visit to the UK. While praising Prince William, Trump turned to Kate, calling her “radiant, healthy, and beautiful.” Many saw the “healthy” comment as referencing her recent cancer remission and found it inappropriate.

Social media users also noted he only mentioned “one son,” seen as a slight to Prince Harry. Critics said his tone broke royal protocol, comparing it to his past breach when he walked in front of Queen Elizabeth II in 2019. Kate appeared gracious, but King Charles was caught laughing during Trump’s speech, which added to the online buzz.
