Kristi, a flight attendant, serves a wealthy couple mid-flight as the man gifts “Isabella” a diamond necklace. The next day, the same man—Edwin—is introduced as her mother’s brand-new fiancé. Kristi warns her mom he’s a scammer, but Mom dismisses it as jealousy; a tense confrontation ends with Kristi dousing Edwin’s drink and vowing to expose him.
Using airline lost-and-found to contact Isabella, Kristi learns Edwin recently asked her for a large “emergency” sum. They stage a restaurant sting: Kristi, disguised as a server, swaps Edwin’s unlocked phone and finds an active dating profile and flirty threads that mirror his pitch to her mom. Edwin catches her; police are called; he files a restraining order, and Kristi’s furious mother cuts contact.
Kristi and Isabella pivot: they log into Edwin’s dating account (password now changed by Kristi) and warn other targets. Together they map a plan to confront him at the wedding, determined to stop the con before vows and money are exchanged.
On the wedding day, dozens of women Edwin duped arrive, denounce him, and the ceremony erupts into chaos before police haul him away. Kristi’s mother, humiliated and still defensive, leaves without speaking, but the scam is over. Kristi decides to give her mom time to grieve—and to make sure Edwin faces full legal consequences.
