A cheap and simple method to keep these pests away from your home

Cockroaches are dreaded household pests that often hide in damp, dark areas like under sinks and behind appliances. Spotting even one can signal a larger infestation, prompting many to seek quick, affordable solutions. A simple DIY method using boric acid and an egg yolk creates an effective homemade bait that lures and kills roaches without the need for professional pest control.

To make the bait, mix 3 tablespoons of boric acid with one egg yolk to form a dough, then shape it into small balls and let them dry. Place these hardened baits in roach-prone areas—under sinks, behind stoves, or in closets—while keeping them out of reach of pets and children. This method targets entire nests, offering a budget-friendly and powerful way to reduce roach populations at home.
